How fast are sales tracked and attributed to affiliates?
Sales are tracked in real-time via webhooks. When a purchase happens on connected platforms like Stripe, Shopify, or Gumroad, the webhook instantly notifies Affiliate Manager. The system attributes the sale to the correct affiliate based on recent click data and updates your dashboard immediately.
Do I get notifications when affiliates make sales?
Affiliate Manager includes email notification capabilities. You receive monthly summary reports with all affiliate activity. For real-time sale alerts, you can integrate with external tools via our API or webhook events.
How can I share performance data with affiliates?
You can export affiliate performance reports as CSV files and share them with your affiliates. The admin dashboard shows detailed metrics for each affiliate including clicks, sales, earnings, and commission rates. You can also send monthly summary reports via email to keep affiliates informed of their performance.
How does click tracking work?
When someone clicks an affiliate link, we record the click with metadata including timestamp, referrer URL, user agent (browser/device info), and a privacy-preserving hash of the IP address. This data helps attribute future purchases to the correct affiliate while respecting user privacy.
What data is collected for each click?
For each click, we track: the affiliate link clicked, timestamp, referrer URL (where the click came from), user agent (browser and device information), and a one-way hash of the IP address for privacy. We also generate a session ID to connect clicks to future purchases.
How does Affiliate Manager attribute sales to affiliates?
When someone clicks an affiliate link, a tracking cookie is set. If they make a purchase on any of your connected platforms, the webhook includes customer information that we match to recent clicks. We attribute the sale to the affiliate whose link was clicked, creating a complete trail from click to conversion.
